Skills. Mono-Printing

So a decent way through task 2 during the workshops, I realised that I wanted to do my fan-zine by mono-print only mainly because I like the idea of only having one colour throughout. Anyway I did a bit more research on it and this is what I've found...

One of the earliest artist that played around with mono printing was Hercules Seghers (1589-1638) a dutch painter.

This is one of his, the ink has been beautifully layered up to create a lovely landscape, although 'mono-print' does mean a singular print, that doesn't mean you can't add colour after colour!
