50's Jazz

I was reading up on the different styles of jazz to get a feel of which 'Orson Around' might be and I'd certainly call it 'Be Bop'/'Bebop'. This style of jazz seem to lean more towards aggressive tempos and harmonies that were more abstract as opposed to the chilled, smooth sounding 'Cool Jazz' that began later on in the 50's.
I've listened to a few 'Be Bop' artists I quite like Charles Mingus especially the song "Moanin'" which a great one just to sit and play on loop, it has some more relaxed section but on the whole it upbeat, I love the opening to it!

Whilst looking through Jazz artists on youtube this Jazz dance video came up in the related section it was quite a good watch. BROTHERS IN JAZZ... UK .jazz dance -uk be-bop style ...
